Tesco Online Bevásárlás changes to Tesco From Home
From March 2021 we change our name, but quality products and services remain as you like them.
Why don't we use the word Bevásárlás in the service name anymore?
The reason for changing the name from Tesco Online Bevásárlás to Tesco From Home is that Online Bevásárlás does not describe correctly all our services and we would like to emphasise our customers that Online Bevásárlás service is not equal to the webshop. Therefore, we chose a new master brand name that equally well describes the basic principle of both of a webshop and the online shopping services such as Tesco Home Delivery and Click and Collect, that’s why we chose Tesco Online. This name covers all the services which offer seamless shopping anytime and anywhere with delivery to your home. Therefore, we felt we have to also rename our grocery home shopping service which offers Tesco Home Delivery and Click and Collect which we call as of now Tesco From Home. Together with the Hungarian Competition Authority we have improved our services and announced Tesco Doboz Webshop (which has been closed in 2023) and for Tesco From Home we have started to offer the flexible opt-out of the substitution for our customers. We believe that you will quickly remember and like the new names as well as our services!
Is the operation of Tesco From Home changing in any way?
In one sentence: Everything stays the way you like it. You can still order your purchase from anywhere via computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone. Your account does not change, everything remains the same also in the application. The change is in the service name, but in the meantime, we improved our range and the flexible opt-out of substitution in case you do not want to receive any offers when the ordered product is not available on the day of the collection. We want you to have a happier life and more time for yourself thanks to Tesco. That is why we ensure the most convenient purchase for you. You can order with us online on the couch, during a hot bath or when sunbathing by the water. Just choose from a menu of more than 15,000 products included fresh food, bakeries, frozen food and many other products, where you can choose the ideal day and time of delivery. We will deliver the entire purchase to your door, or you can comfortable pick them at one of our Tesco collecting points by Click & Collect method. That's why we chose the name Tesco From Home.
